OUR HISTORY
Aerospace Training Academy of South Africa is a private institution of higher learning. The journey of Aerospace Training Academy began seven years ago with an ambitious professional having aspirations to take it to the pinnacle of quality education, nationally and internationally. The first challenge was, and still is, to change the South African aviation industry mind set, as to welcome the new training approach ATASA is offering. We are the first Aviation Academy in South Africa to offer career paths in aviation with academic qualifications. Our programmes are approved by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) and accredited by TETA (Transport Education Training Authority of South Africa). All programs are registered with SAQA (South African Qualification Authority), and require a National Senior Certificate Grade 12, with endorsement, as appropriate for admission to higher Education for a certificate or diploma.

Our vision is to set and maintain International standards in aviation training, which will be accessible to all. We integrate our training with computer-based training.

To supply the aviation industry with world-class qualified personnel. We will achieve this by providing relevant and quality training and adding value to our customers businesses through integrating knowledge, skills and attitude. We employ highly-trained instructors, licensed engineers and utilize training systems that provide peace of mind.

OUR APPROVAL
ATASA receives its approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of South Africa (SACAA) and is approved to offer training as per the OpsSpec attached herewith.
