Aerospace Training Academy of South Africa is an institution of higher learning, comprising three divisions:

School of Engineering
The School of Engineering is ATASA's core technical division, training the next generation of aviation maintenance professionals through a powerful mix of classroom theory and hands-on systems labs. Students develop real-world expertise in aircraft maintenance and overhaul, performance engineering, simulator operations, and inspection support equipment.
We offer two distinct pathways: long-form courses — including a One-Year Certificate and a Three-Year Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering — that fast-track candidates toward becoming certified Aircraft Engineers; and focused certifications in Aircraft Instruments, Radio, Electrical, and Avionics for technicians who need targeted, high-impact credentials without committing to a full diploma.

National Skills Fund
Bursary & Funding for StudentsWe have partnered with National Skills Fund to train 80 qualifying students for an avionics course, fully funded by the National Skills Fund and the Department of Higher Education and Training. Qualifying students will also receive stipends.
